Thanks to all who came out to our Halloween show at Mississippi Pizza!  We hope to see you again on Wednesday, November 28 at the Goodfoot where we'll play our second show with our new drummer John Church who brings fresh energy to the tunes with his solid, creative playing.

Greetings! We would like to thank everyone who came out on Saturday to our CD release party, with a special thanks to those of you that filled the dance floor.  We would also like to thank The White Eagle for hosting the show as well as Oxcart and Big E for sharing the bill.  We were also stoked to get Jason Baker of Oxcart up on stage for a few tunes including a smoking cover of "Whipping Post" by The Allman Brothers. We all had a great time and feel like we launched the the album in style, thanks again to everyone who took part.

We will be spending the next little while here working on some new material and hope to get some more dates on the calendar so check back soon.

Welcome to the new Groundscore website! We would like to thank our bass player Lance for all of his hard work putting this site together.

I am also happy to announce we have now completed the printing stage of  our brand new album, The Going Rate and are now gearing up for a CD release party to take place on February 24th at the White Eagle in Portland. This show will also include a ripping opening set from Oxcart as well as an acoustic set from Big E of Ashbury Park.  Look for the CD to be available on CD Baby very soon. New Groundscore Album!

Groundscore is excited to announce that we've finished recording our new album (as of yet untitled)! It's our first studio effort since moving to Portland in 2002. Three of the tunes have been posted here to give you an idea. Look for a CD release in the coming months. The new album will be available for purchase at our live shows, in local music stores, and on our website.
